Over the years, the cute and cuddly Meowth character has appealed to me, making Meowth my favorite Pokemon. It is a fact that Meowths need more love and attention. Meowths (in the game and anime) are usually kept as pets and represent the common household cat. They are not as lucky as they are useful because they are attracted to shiny objects and once they learn the move Pay Day, they grant the trainer with money! No one is sure how Meowth's charm actually works but it somehow posseses the power to multiply and Meowth will then be able to share the wealth. Not only is Meowth useful and cute, but it is also Charming and unique in its design.
Meowth's portrayal in the manga is similar to that of the anime, but in Toshihiro Ono's comic, Meowth meets a younger Meowth that asks him in Meowth language "Why do you talk like a human? That's weird." And proceeds to call him a freak, sending Meowth running away in tears. A Meowth's biggest role in the Manga is part of Team Rocket's Meowth. Wild or other Meowths do appear from time to time but their roles are never as big or epic as rare or other favorite Pokemon. Ono's style of drawing for Meowth makes it cute and cuddly, and more furry then the anime portrayal.
